I have just seen that Monarch are doing another day trip, this time it's between MAN-CEG to visit the Airbus UK factory. ( I recall the organizer saying that they had got permission to go there)
Here's the details http://www.monarch.c...siasts-day-trip.
Looks pretty good.
Thanks
Ben

I really hope Toby organises the A300 to LFBO and back now that would be a trip id pay up to £200 for.

May pay a landside visit at NR to snap the 320 in unfamiliar surroundings. Thanks for the heads-up Ben

I know that the reason the AB6 isn't being used is due to Arbus rejecting them due to the beluga stand is the only stand able to take it and airbus need it all the time hence the A320 as this is the only a/c that they have which will fit.
The issue with cost, which has now been reduced to £129. the other flights, enthusiasts on board or not would of operated, this one is a special charter so will automatically cost more.
The other issue was airbus time limits, hence the 2 factories only, still would be intresting loggers would want the production aircraft where I think technical minded people will enjoy the new 350 area.
Thanks

It wasnt on the ground for long - and the Beluga stand was occupied at the time with F-TA.
The good old days eh
Ben - any idea if the 320 will be using A or D on the day ? (The PVT A319's used to use A)
Thanks

Things have now changed it's a 321 operating (believed to be G-OZBO) but I have no idea where they will park, I suspect outside the FBO's or near the Airbus conference suite.
It also looks like they have decided the factories being visited will be the new A350 and A32S/A330/A340 lines.
Thanks
