Hello Folks,

I alluded in my earlier post that training for Shanwick was now going to come under Scottish and Northern Irelands Responsibilty, which shall be the case, for VATSIM-UK Controllers.

At present, after some other objectives are completed, the RTS Staff shall be putting together a training program and documentation to really get Shanwick back up and running. When this system is fully implemented Area Controllers (Rated C1 or above) shall be able to request training through SCONI which shall pertain to an Oceanic Rating.

Dave,

What you have to remember is that some of the people on that list have taken a break from vatsim/ controlling, personal lifes have got too busy, and others struggle to find the time to get online much. I'm sure we will notice an improvement with the rolling out of this new Shanwick training.
