Known Issues
    1. ACSIM defaults to using 45 Nautical Miles (NM) per Longitude. This will result incorrect headings being performed when playing the situation through ACSIM.
    2. During peak times, the Flight Plan response from vRoute may take in excess of 20 seconds.
    3. ASE does not load Euroscope modified sector files.
    4. The font does not install on Windows Vista - Download Font
    5. Windows Vista/Windows 7 users must install and run ASE as an administrator

I have to admit to never having used this software before, but I've installed it this morning and don't know how I coped without it! Makes creating and editing scenarios much easier and more effective. Thanks!

I'm still having the same problem as last time!

I click on Vroute button having completed the flight plan fields, but it keeps coming up "flight plan request timeout occured"

Vroute itself is working fine and I installed and am running ASE as administrator.

I wonder why this is happening?

Thanks,

Mark

Sounds like your firewall is allowing vroute to connect to the internet but not ASE?

I've added ase to the firewall so it should have all the access it needs, just seems odd that this keeps happening!

Hi Mark, I shall try to have a look and solve your problem after I come back from the Caribbean in the first week of March. Sorry for the delay

Thanks Craig,

Just for some extra info, I have got it working on my 32bit vista laptop by right clicking on the exe file and selecting run as admin tick box instead of just right clicking the shortcut on the start menu, I will try this on my 64 bit vista desktop and if that solves it, will post back as could just be a lack of knowledge on my part over which run as admin option to choose!

Kind Regards,

Mark

I have had this working all vista 32 / 64 and windows 7 64 and it works, so sounds like firewall, just because you allow some firewalls, it doesnt always do as instructed,

I'm a bit unsure about the use of SID/STAR's.

Do i have to enter the SID and STAR route in the Euroscope part, or can i assign it when playing the sim in ES?

Hi Morten,

Just insert the first waypoint eg: CLN and the sim should pick the SID from the ESE file.

Hi there, I have installed the program and I have tried opening it and it is coming up with a Fatal error which states: CLR error 80004005 The program will now terminate. I have tried reinstalling it and still having the same problem. I have Windows 7 64bit

Any ideas?

Regards Ollie

You can do, if that doesnt work try downloading .NET Framework 2.0. Thats what ASE was compiled with.
