Good luck Robbie, let us know how you get on.
I'm at the opposite end, 7hrs into my PPL training. Still have to organise my medical and no longer being a 'spring chicken' that may dictate if I can carry on with the PPL or have to fall back on NPPL.
I spotted your posts in another forum as well

Well, I don't know what to say really - the weather has been pants for the best part of a month now, and I've had no chance at flying, if it's not thunderstorms, it's windy, if it's not that is mist or fog. What's next snow??
Well this Thursday, which remarkably if many remember is the day one year ago that my Grandad passed away to Cancer at the age of 74, and the next opportunity to take my skills test is this date, weather permitting. This is going to be a very emotional day already, but I have a feeling and I am guessing all I can do is make sure I am flying a lovely flight.

Good luck Robbie, you've worked hard for it so you deserve to pass.
I'm sure the work involved in prepping for your test will be foremost in your mind so thoughts of your Grandad will be pushed to the back.

How can you have an EASA LAPL? I'm of the understanding that it doesn't even exist yet. Are you on the BETA team?
