Vatsim-uk and the South East RTS are excited to announce "Gatwick Surprize Night" on Saturday the 9th June 2012 from
18:30 - 20:00z. Gatwick will be fully staffed and thanks to Just Flight, two lucky pilots will win a piece of software of their choice.

The arrival which lands in the first third and a departure in the final third is selected for the prize based on runway time, so
arrive and depart during the time window to maximize your chance of being selected for a prize!

Once again we must thank Just Flight for very kindly donating these prizes, their website can be

sending Contact mes to flights out side CAS

Hi

Just a quick reminder to APP controllers to not send contact mes to VFR flights flying out side CAS ..last night i was on THAMES and had a few VFR flights on freq .. one flight i lost RT with and kept on trying to call him only to find out KK APP send him a Contact me , he was not flying inside CAS so no need to do this and was under a service from me , .. i was asking my flights to fly not above 2000 feet as they passed the extended center line of 26L as i noticed APP was descending their flights to 3000.
If flights want to call you for a service / transit they will ..... saying that pilots can expect a contact me from Thames if at Biggin or City ..

What's it all about?

For eighteen hours this May, the skies over the Tasman Sea between Australia and New Zealand will be filled with aircraft all on a mission to Cross the Ditch.

An example of that typical down-under understatement, this "ditch" is over 1100nm wide. The flight routes all range from two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half hours flight time.

Throughout the event, the Oceania region's two divisions – VATNZ and VATPAC – will be providing full ATC coverage, in the Southern Hemisphere's premiere oceanic event.

This is a great opportunity to experience Oceanic flying without the need to commit to an eight-hour flight! If you're new to Oceanic Flying, our reporting tool makes taking part a breeze.

Event Times

This eighteen hour event is timed to allow pilots from all over the world join the fun:

UTC: Saturday 26th May 2012 18:00 - Sunday 27th May 2012 12:00

AEST: Sunday 27th May 2012 04:00 - Sunday 27th May 2011 22:00

NZST: Sunday 27th May 2012 06:00 - Monday 28th May 2012 00:00

Routes

This season's Cross the Ditch returns to the three-airport structure that proved so popular last year. Pilots can fly in either direction between Noumea (New Caledonia) and Christchurch (New Zealand), and Christchurch and Sydney (Australia).

Each flight should take roughly three to three-and-a-half hours to complete, allowing pilots time to easily complete multiple sectors.

Hi All

It's been a while, I haven't been too active on the network just lately as life has been manic.

Just so you are all aware, Todor had taken a break from developing the next version of the GVCCS program that will allow all the previously displayed and talked about functionality. He is now back on the case and has just released a new beta with more functionality.

So progress is being made, albeit slowly just recently.

Once the new version is released it will change communications forever, I can assure you that. All the things people don't like or that don't work or that could work better on the current version will be spot on in the next.

Watch this space.

Now, when will I manage to force myself to start working on the profiles again

A good mix of both VFR and IFR traffic to make the exam a success.
Supporting control from EGJJ_APP and Jersey Zone would be appreciated. GND is to be left clear for the purposes of the exam.
Good Luck.

Accurately following taxi instructions at Heathrow is obviously difficult for some pilots (including me!). The aerodrome charts provided from nDAC are difficult to read quickly when asked to follow complicated taxi instructions.
This could be solved if someone could undertake to produce full-colour poster-sized charts for Heathrow. I would certainly be prepared to purchase such a chart in order to better comply with taxiing instructions.

Heathrow RTS Opens 01/06/12 - Please read!

The RTS will be reopening again to all S2 and higher rated controllers on Friday 1st June 2012.

The priority order of mentoring allocation has slightly changed and is now (from top to bottom):

C3 UK
C1 UK
S3 UK
S2 UK
C3 Visitor
C1 Visitor
S3 Visitor
S2 Visitor

Until then, we would like to ask all controllers that are interested in gaining a position in Heathrow to post your name, CID and controller rating below. From there, your credentials will be entered into a database which will allow you to place an RTS join request in to the system on June 1st at approximately 1200z (1300 UK local).

Only those who have replied below will be able to see the RTS as "open" on June 1st.

At the moment, we have a reasonably empty waiting list, however we are also in the progress of clearing the students currently undergoing training. Once a mentor becomes available, you will be taken off the waiting list and your assigned mentor will then email you informing you that you can now start training. You will be able to see your position in the waiting list in the "RTS System".

If you haven't bothered to read up ahead of your session then do not be surprised if the mentor tells you to go away and read up on the neccesary items. The session may then be rescheduled for another date. The mentors are giving up their free time to help you progress so please respect this by coming prepared to your sessions!

On May 31st 2012, after 2259z (2359 UK local) any further applicants will not be accepted.

IMPORTANT! You MUST have regular availability to commence training at Heathrow. If not, you may risk losing your place and having your mentor assigned to another student who has availability. If you have any issues with this then send me a PM or email me.

NON-UK VISITORS - PLEASE READ!

Please register your interest below - please also include your home DIVISION and REGION. Many European vACCs and Divisions require controllers to speak the native language fluently, we are no different. If you satisfy this requirement then please register your interest below and we will arrange to have you join the UK Division as a visitor at Heathrow. Any questions send us a PM or email (heathrow[at]vatsim-uk.co.uk).

Voice ATIS Rules

Hey guys,

The is mainly aimed at New Controllers but everyone can (and no doubt will) have a look

When we go over the Voice ATIS Setup within Euroscope or VRC we (or rather I) don't tend to emphasise the rules regarding the Voice ATIS.

To go over it now....

Voice Automatic Terminal Information Service (ATIS). As provided for in Paragraphs A(8)(a) and ( b )of the Code of Conduct, a controller is permitted to create a second connection to the VATSIM network using his or her CID for the sole purpose of providing voice ATIS to pilots. A controller wishing to provide voice ATIS MUST meet each of the following requirements:

The controller must have an S1 rating or higher

An ATIS may be created only for facilities which have a real-world ATIS

There must be a controller providing local control (tower) services at the field for which the ATIS is being created. This can be an overlying center or approach controller;

There can be only one voice ATIS per controller and the recording must be limited to one airport;

The maximum length of the voice ATIS must not exceed one minute and the only audible sound must be the controller reading the ATIS. In addition, the controller must provide only that essential information which is typically found in a real world ATIS for the location. This would include weather, active runways and operational information directly relevant to pilots operating at the field. Controllers are expressly prohibited from providing any other non-relevant information including, but not limited to, event announcements or personal information about the controller or others;

Whenever a controller chooses to create a voice ATIS, he or she must also provide the same information in the form of a text ATIS; and

A controller may provide a voice ATIS in his or her native language. However, if a controller chooses to do so, then the required text version of the ATIS must provide the same information in English.

(Vatsim Code of Conduct: http://www.vatsim.ne...twork/docs/coc/ )

The main point that I want to get across here is in relation to the third point. You cannot setup an ATIS if there is no controller providing top down for London Stansted (refer to the list in correct hand off procedures). If that controller is present however then feel free to setup the ATIS. If Stansted Tower is online then normally he or she would setup the ATIS.

Hopefully this clears any confusion up and I apologise for not emphasising the point in any mentoring sessions so far.

Enjoy your controlling,

Martin

i have added stands for guernsey 1-8, i have left 9-14 out as they are on charts to be surveyed, also holding point D1 is now added
i have also added the names to the jersey vrps, cobiere lighthouse, north west corner, south east corner.
i dont know if this could be of any interest to someone wanting to controll on JB, JJ, or if it could be incorperated into the next release of the eggt sector file, if anyone could test it just to see if its working that would be great i have never edited a secorfile before

Time to do some tinkering, but help desperately needed!

Okay guys! I'm looking at doing a little bit of PC hardware modernising. I'm looking at something which will very capably run FSX (80+ FPS) with PMDG spec aircraft and all of the lashings (Active Sky, scenery and so on). My current specs are:

Quote

Intel DG41TY iG41 Socket 775 6 Channel Audio MATX Motherboard

Casecom MA-1199 Shiny Black MATX Tower Case

Casecom Silver 500W ATX Power Supply - 20+4pin ATX12V 4x Molex

Samsung SH-S223 22x DVD±RW DL & RAM SATA Optical Drive

Intel Core 2 Duo E7600 3.06GHz Socket 775 1066Mhz 3MB C

2x Crucial 2GB DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 Memory Non-ECC Unbuffered CL6

Samsung EcoGreen F2 1TB Hard Drive SATAII 32MB Cache

GeForce GTX 460 SE

Those who know me understand I'm pretty useless when it comes to choosing hardware as I don't know which bits are compatible with the other bits, (this crude explanation alone should help you understand!!! ) so the challenge is, for anyone who would like to help me: changing as few parts as possible (I know a CPU upgrade is necessary and possibly the motherboard.... which then may require a PSU change...) help me get a machine that will fulfil the brief.

The machine as it does now, will run Win7 64bit.

Thanks!!!

Hi,

As you know I joined the RTS from Scottish about a month ago as an S1, I was accepted and did my over the shoulder session with Andy Ford. after the site went down and came back up my Home RTS had changed back to Scottish, so today I re applied to come back to SW, dunno what happened but just can someone confirm admin end I am all good for GND Control and if possible explain what happened, my guess is this was because of the site going down.

Thanks,

SERTS Student + Mentor Groupings

Hello All,

You may remember our recent introduction of student and mentor groupings to get a better handle on who wants training within the RTS. We introduced the SERTS mentoring agreement ( http://www.vatsim-uk...agreement_3.pdf ) and every existing member was asked to catagorise themselves.

All subsequent new members were linked to the agreement when joining - and asked for their grouping upon passing an OBS-S1 exam.

To clarify which grouping we have everyone in - I've listed them below together with a breif description of the category. Please check we have you in the right group - if you are not in the appropriate group - you may not be able to recieve the level of training you wish for.

If you think you are in the wrong group - contact us - south.east(at ) vatsim-uk.co.uk

OBS-S1

Students are not currently grouped, there should be minimal delays in training and upgrades.

Monarch Airlines to open new hub.

Hello all,

I was browsing the monarch website, where I found this excellent news for East Midlands Airport, with the imminent departure of BMI Baby, Monarch have snapped up the opportunity to operate from a class airfield...

Enjoy...

2012 News - Flights - Monarch Airlines to expand operations across the Midlands

03 05 2012

- Airline to launch a new base at East Midlands Airport and expand services from Birmingham Airport -
Scheduled leisure airline Monarch has today announced a further expansion of its operations across the Midlands with the launch of a new base at East Midlands Airport, and also the growth of services from Birmingham Airport.
The airline, already a leading leisure carrier at Birmingham Airport, will introduce a new base at East Midlands Airport from late summer 2012 and launch new flights to key leisure destinations across the Mediterranean, including Malaga, Alicante, Palma (Majorca) and Faro (Portugal).
In addition, Monarch will be expanding its operations from Birmingham Airport through the introduction of additional frequencies on existing flights to Rome to Malaga, Alicante, Faro and Palma, plus the addition of a new route to Barcelona. A UK base for Monarch since 2005, the airline is already one of Birmingham’s leading scheduled airline, flying over 875,000 passengers every year to over twenty destinations across Europe.
Commenting on the launch of a new base at East Midlands Airport and the expansion of services from Birmingham Airport, Managing Director of Monarch Airlines, Kevin George said, “In light of recent industry changes, opportunities have opened up in the market. Iit has become clear that the Midlands will be underserved as a region in the future, and that there is a lack of quality carriers to serve customers travelling from the area.”
“As an airline with over 40 years heritage and a stronghold in the Midlands already, the expansion of our existing services from Birmingham and the launch of operations from East Midlands makes perfect sense for Monarch, and accelerates the strategy we announced last year to focus on the development of our scheduled operations into key leisure destinations across the Mediterranean, the Canaries and North Africa.”
George continues. “The further expansion of our services from the Midlands will provide even more customers in the Midlands with choice and flexibility and protects jobs at East Midlands Airport in the future”.

Statement Regarding System Downtime

Dear all

As you may know, VATSIM United Kingdom's website and associated services were unavailable from the beginning of May. The Pilots RTS (PIRTS) and the Air Traffic Control RTSs suffered considerable, but unavoidable disruption due to a distributed denial of service attack on the server which our data resided.

Our service has now been restored after we cancelled our contract with the existing hosting company and transferred to another provider.

Full details of the outage are available for you to read in an announcement, available on our forum, by the head of Web Services: http://community.vat...408#entry227408

As that announcement explains, we have been unable to retrieve any data from the third week of March onwards. For that reason you may notice that your mentoring history no longer fully reflects your activity within the RTS. Additionally, those who joined the Pilots RTS in late March or April will need to rejoin the RTS.

Thankfully, PIRTS keeps a manually updated and remote database of current students which enables us to understand exactly where every member is in their pilot training journey. We also keep detailed records of the practical exams which have been conducted.

We will be rescheduling the Group Mentoring Sessions as soon as possible to resume normal service, plus we stand ready to accept individual mentoring sessions as and when a request and sufficient availability is inserted by you into the RTS system.

Please make that mentoring request and insert your availability now.

Should you find yourself unable to request an individual mentoring session, (P1_VATSIM) or have any other concerns - no matter how trivial, please write to:

pilot.training@vatsim-uk.co.uk

We will then be able to assist you further. Thank you for your patience and continued support during this difficult time and we look forward to the successful completion of your studies.

Yours sincerely

Hello,

How would I go about adding another column/field on the departure list, it's only for my own reference, and what I need to put inside it will not need to be seen by adjacent controllers.

If I really have to tell you what it's for then I will, but you shouldnt. Basically it's a number only field for reference for myself, I've got the space there, but I can't click in it?

Getting the SE back up to date

Welcome back everyone.

As you are no doubt aware - we are operating on a back-up from the third week in March (see http://community.vatsim-uk.co.uk/topic/25538-vatsim-uk-web-services/page__pid__227408#entry227408)

What needs to happen now?

All:- If you joined the RTS in March, April or May, you need to rejoin - please do so ASAP - we'll get you up to speed as quickly as we can.

Students:- Input some availability ASAP (http://rts.vatsim-uk.co.uk/home/login.php ). If you have a session accepted from March - please do nothing with that session for the moment. Add requests for sessions as normal.

If you were given addition "rights" for mentoring and they have disappeared - you need to email us to get these reinstated. south.east@vatsim-uk.co.uk

If you passed an OBS-S1 with us - and there are issues there - please, again, email us.

STV's/SAV's :- these, have also been reset. I believe I have got all of the APP ones sorted - if you feel you are missing an STV/SAV - please email us - at the above address.

Mentors:- If you have a session that you accepted in March listed in the system. Do one of two things:-

Either - complete the report to the best of your ability - if you have the notes from that session, even better.

Or - If you are unable to complete the report - please fill in a comment in the "additional info" box - that the session has been lost - and complete the report with no comments, and the boxes where they were for the previous session.

Please do not cancel the session.

There will be some reports which you never filed (from late last week and the weekend) - please reply to this thread with the session details, Names, CIDs, Position, Date and Time, we will endevour to get a session inserted for you to complete the report against - please do not pick up any sessions to compensate - the web guys will do this all backstage for you.

===========================================================================

I would imagine, most reports in the intervening period are "lost" both from our minds and electronically - if you have any details from a crucial session (pre-exam etc) - and feel you would like it adding - please add the details below.

Looking forward to getting things upto date and running nice and smoothly again - to make this as efficient as possible - please do your individual tasks ASAP - they will speed up the process no end.
Those of you who have joined an RTS, have requested visiting status, during the effected time frame mentioned in the recent announcment, can you submit tickets via the helpdesk to membership to get things reinstated. I suspect membership will have a large number of these to deal with so do not expect yours to be done within the normal 48hr period.

Getting the SW back up to date

Hello all,

By now it's likely you're all fully aware of the circumstances surrounding the outdated information on the RTS System and on the Forums (if not check here). Now that the web team have reinstated the RTS system (and what a fantastic job they've done!) it's time to concentrate on updating things locally. Below is some info on what needs to happen next.

Mentoring sessions:

All mentoring session reports from Tuesday 20th March 1012 to Tuesday 8th May 2012 are no longer in the system and therefore need to be reinstated. Here's how that's going to work...

If you have conducted(mentor) or been the recipient(student) of a mentoring session within the above time frame you need to post the following information below: Position, Student CID(w/name), Mentor CID(w/name), Session Date, Start Time, End Time and any additional info such as whether it was a pre exam. I'll get the ball rolling with a response below. Mentors:- Once the information regarding the session has been put into the system you will need to fill out the report again. In the meantime try and remember what happened in the session and where all the progression ticks were place. I know this isn't going to be easy so I don't expect picture perfect reports.

I'm no longer a member of the RTS!:

If you joined the South West RTS between Tuesday 20th March 1012 and Tuesday 8th May 2012 you will need to rejoin.

AOB:

If you think anything else is missing or needs to be reevaluated please submit a ticket in the Helpdesk system. Please consider whether your issue is local or "system wide" i.e is it something the South West Staff can deal with or is it something that the Web Team need to rectify.

Note: Personal Messages on the Forum and emails to our personal VATSIM-UK email addresses will not be replied to so please use the Helpdesk to get in touch with us.

British Airways Virtual is proud to present its tenth major OverNighter Event. However, this time, we are holding an ALL DAY long haul event with pilots flying out to the place where this all started - Los Angeles International Airport in the heart of Southern California.

We also dedicate this, our TENTH OverNighter event to one very special former member pilot - SVEN ADAMSKI. Sven was a long time member who lost his battle with Lukemia and passed away in February of this year. Rest In peace my friend - Blue Skies to you always

British Airways Virtual pilots will depart London Heathrow Airport on the morning of Saturday 19th May 2012 to simulate the daily BA283 service that serves the City of the Angels from London. Pilots are expected to make landfall some 11 hours later after the mass flyout from the UK. This is our first DAYTIME long haul event and it is hoped that there will be more, as well as the ever popular and challenging overnight flights that we undertake and that are the hallmark of the OverNighters.

Departure slots will be available over a three hour, forty minute time window starting from 10:00Z (11:00 UK Time) until 13:40Z (14:40 UK time) on Saturday 19th May 2012. Slots will be available for departures on VATSIM and online ATC will hopefully be provided for the departure out of Heathrow by VATSIM UK, as well as VATUSA in the form of the Los Angeles ARTCC for the arrival into the United States some 11 hours later. It is hoped that there will also be enroute ATC over Canada and the northern Atlantic as well, as I am in contact with our Canadian friends too. We are trying to arrange as much enroute ATC as possible for the flight. Please watch for the Callsign & Slot List thread, as well as the Rules thread which will be posted shortly. A special Pilots Briefing will be posted nearer the event date. This event is open to ALL BAV Pilots and the Aircraft Substitutions Policy will be lifted for this major flyin event - so you may fly any British Airways operated aircraft that is capable of making the flight.

Will we all make it? Can we stay alert through the 11 hour flight to make a safe landing at the end? How many of you can rise to the challenge? We'll see what happens ........

New Essex RTS Members...

Hi guys,

Had a couple of emails from you regarding the situation with the website and your ratings and that you are in the RTS system showing as an OBS.

In the first instance please see this post for more details: http://community.vat...k-web-services/

In your case your rating should upgrade (again) to S1 when everything gets back to normal. The web team are still fixing some issues and getting everything back online.

Please be patient (and thank the web team when you see them!).

As for your reports, I do imagine that in time we will get a report back up for you to read. In the mean time if you wish to receive your report you can email me and I will send it to you.

If I was not your mentor and it was an OBS part 2 session then please feel free to email me anyway with any specific queries you may have and I can hopefully address them.

If you have any other questions then please post below.

Thanks,
Martin

PS: Keep controlling! It is really great to see you all online!

On Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th of June 2012, Birmingham Airport (EGBB) will host it's 6th annual Mid Summer
Madness event. Birmingham Airport will be fully staffed from 1000z - 1900z on both days, from Birmingham Delivery
right up to London Control.

Saturday 16th of June will see EGBB host a Real-Ops event. All the real world flights into and out of EGBB between
1000z-1900z on a recent Saturday can be booked. A diverse range of flights are available to book, from short hops
to Scotland, Northern Ireland and Eire, to the slightly longer Charter flights to popular holiday destinations.

The next day, on Sunday 17th of June, EGBB will host a 'Not-so-Real-Ops event! What's Not-so-Real I hear you ask?
Well, the flights did happen, the callsigns are real and the off-blocks times are correct, it's just that the flights, real world
, flew into and out of a different airport! (Gatwick to be precise!) An interesting way to spice things up and a way of seeing
different aircraft types and routes at Birmingham.

All pilots are cordially invited to take part. You'll see there's hundreds of flights to choose from. Please help us celebrate
the 6th anniversary of this fantastic event by flying in and out of Birmingham - the skies are guaranteed to be busy around
EGBB on the 16th and 17th of June!

If you can't find a route you'd like to fly, then non-event traffic is also more than welcome. Similarly, if you don't have the
aircraft type for your booking, you can fly your route in any aircraft you like.

VATSIM-UK Web Services

All,

As you will most likely be aware, late on Thursday evening last week the hosting company VATSIM-UK was with went down. The reason for this was a prolonged attack across their network from outside sources which resulted in the majority of their network being taken down and wiped.

We received communication from the company stating that they were ‘giving up’ and simply letting their server leases run out. Once this had been confirmed to me I coordinated with an alternative host that we had lined up previously for a planned migration in a few months’ time.

Due to the impromptu destruction of the entire series of servers owned by the company, we were unable to obtain the database backups that ran nightly and as such have had to rely on more outdated backups retained locally by both myself and Kieran. In the coming weeks we will be re-making our entire backup system in order to ensure this situation cannot happen again. We will put new procedures in place to ensure that weekly database backups are made on remote locations.

Our alterative company has been extremely helpful in getting us set back up in such a short time frame; equally we have managed to secure a deal whereby we have a more powerful server which will hopefully cope better with our daily needs.

The Heathrow RTS and VATSIM-UK present Heathrow RealOps 2012 - 12 hours of pure realism on Saturday
21st April 10:00 - 22:00z.

All pilots are warmly invited to attend what is expected to be one of the UK's busiest events with 12 hours of
bookable inbound and outbound flights. Whether it's a quick hop to the Netherlands, a domestic trip to Edinburgh
or a warm welcome after a long flight in from the Far East, Heathrow's top notch controlling team will be on hand to
provide you with an unforgettable experience. We're aiming at maximum realism, so during the peak times you
might find yourself being asked to hold, being issued with a slot (takeoff) time and even end up being number 5
on the ILS!

Could we kindly ask that those of you who are brave enough to join us to please read the Pilot's Event Guide
document beforehand and also to have a quick study over the Heathrow charts so you know what sort of
clearances/taxi instructions you can expect.

If you have any questions before the event then please feel free to get in touch with us. We look forward to
welcoming you into Heathrow's airspace!

Bookings will open on the 1st April 2012. Keep checking back for the link which will be available soon!

Flight numbers, callsigns and codesharing

Hi all.

I've recently been looking at flight numbers, callsigns and codesharing and wanted some clarification. From what I've read, callsigns can be different (in both prefix, or in number) to flight numbers. However, my girlfriend is about to take a flight from Bristol to Edinburgh with a flight number U25034 (random number, can't remember what it actually was). Whilst the callsign will most likely be EZY25034, why is the flight number not EZY25034 aswell? I accept that they don't have to be the same, but why aren't they for simplicities sake?

On a related note, British Airways Shuttle flights have a callsign of SHT25034 but are their flight numbers still prefixed BAW or BA?

And lastly, codesharing. An example on Wikipedia showed a departures board which listed two separate flight numbers (one that was a BA and one that was Cathay Pacific) but the description on Wikipedia seemed to say they were actually the same flight. Is this true and, if so, which of the airlines' aircraft would that flight have used? Could it have been either? And is it specific to the codeshare agreement?

IFR en-route navigation add-ons

Folks,

What are the current options for electronic en-route chart add-ons for navigation within FS9? I mean this, not so much from the perspective of flight-planning, but from the point of view of having an overview of the local environment of DME navaids, to update the INS (Civa-INS) in my 707, VC10, 742 and 747SP weapon of choice?

I have been using the old FSNavigator program, which I believe is now quite obsolete as well as having a very out of date set of airways and waypoints, but it does have the advantage of giving a navaid's position- LAT and LONG, as well as the altitude, which is important for DME-updating, because the direct slant-distance is involved.

I've been encouraged by the website for Navigraph, which includes en-route charts as an option. Does that program allow you to save the chart as a pdf, or do you pay-as-you-fly? Something with a current or nearly-current AIRAC cycle is likely to keep the ATC blood pressure under control.

Thanks.

The stansted overload is scheduled tonight between 18 and 22z, I had initally booked S between 18 and 20 but I've extended that by 2 hours to cover the entire event. How ever there are no bookings on LON C or LTC N, anyone up for a bit of control? Would be a shame if there is no area cover for an overload event :(

Discover some southern Dutch hospitality! The Netherlands' most southern airport is in the spotlights during the Maastricht-Aachen Airport Fly-in, organised by the Dutch VACC on Saturday, March 24th.

Maastricht-Aachen Airport is characterized by a wide range of flights. The airport handles quite a few interesting cargo movements, is served by GermanWings on a daily flight to Berlin, and a diverse range of bizzjets visit the airport regularly. Alternatively, try a VFR-flight across the country using the NL2000 photorealistic VFR scenery. The southern part of the Netherlands is renowed for it's food and hospitality. Join us between 18:30 and 21:00 UTC!
Is it possible to use 2 USB headsets with FS Inn for VATSIM? E.g for a "pilot" and "co-pilot"?

If so, is there seperate PTT buttons?

Thanks,

VRC sector files for Stansted?

Hi,

I haven't been around for months and months and would like to get back into controlling. Anybody have any idea where the sector files are for Stansted in VRC? I had a decent, Stansted specific one a long time ago but can't find it on the website and can't remember the name of it.

Is anybody is using VRC and has a sector file for EGSS, which isn't UK12.4 or London FIR? If so, I would be grateful if you would forward it on to me!

Thanks
